Awake and Aware
Clinical Training:
Awake and Aware, LLC trains all its new clinicians in the comprehensive modality. We have a robust and rigorous training process to ensure adherence and the effective treatment of all we serve.
Training is part of the promise that Awake and Aware, LLC offers its clinicians, along with 1:1 supervision, group consult forums for independently and non-independently licensed clinicians, and consultation teams for adolescent and adult programs.
All our clinicians are required to audiotape sessions, which are then coded for compliance with Current DBT standards. We support the accomplishment of DBT certification for all practitioners interested in becoming Linehan board certified.
We are proud of the training program we offer New Mexico clinicians and welcome new or seasoned clinicians that want to join our team.
Community Training
Our Executive Director created a DBT adaptation for Treatment Foster Care while building in partnership the first DBT team at Hogares, INC in 2008. Since our subsequent founding, Awake and Aware, LLC has continued to work collaboratively within the behavioral health community to support ongoing access of this important mode of treatment.
It is part of our mission to make DBT accessible to more and more practitioners in New Mexico through training and support in the development of adherence. We are available to create specific training geared towards your particular populations and demographic, especially those in outlying and historically underserved counties where resources are more disparate and within our immediate school and university communities. We welcome the opportunity to work with you and your agency in developing your skills to offer DBT.
